With the publication, by the Revenue Agency, of the operating instructions, those who carry out work at home that are entitled to tax deductions can already get a discount on the invoice from the supplier, for an amount equal to the amount of the bonus . Here's how:

Replacement of windows and condensing boilers. But also more complex operations, such as the implementation of anti-seismic safety measures or the redevelopment of a building envelope. These are all interventions for which consumers are enabled to obtain a discount on the invoice, by the supplier, for an amount equal to the amount of the deduction.

This is the effect of the recently published provision of the Revenue Agency, which implements the highly contested (from small and medium-sized companies) article 10 of the growth decree (Decree Law 34/2019). The substance is very relevant for consumers: instead of paying an amount of 100 euros, in the event of a 50% deduction, only 50 will be paid. The rest, corresponding to the value of the tax discount, will be recovered through a procedure that has finally taken defined contours.

The rules for customers

For all the energy redevelopment and seismic risk reduction operations, the exercise of the option must be communicated to the Revenue Agency, under penalty of ineffectiveness, by February 28 of the year following the year in which the expenses are incurred.

For the interventions carried out on the individual real estate units, the communication must be made by the subject who is entitled to the deduction, using the functions made available in the reserved area of ??the Revenue Agency's website, or by submitting a form to the agency's offices.

For interventions carried out on the common parts of the condominium buildings, communication is instead the prerogative of the condominium administrator, through the information flow used to transmit the data necessary for the preparation of the precompiled one.
